Our head office locations act as a central hub, bringing together expertise from across the business. It also means that transferable skills – whether in operations, procurement, HR, finance, customer service and more – are highly valued and often open doors to new opportunities. Being part of a group means you’re never limited to one path; instead, you’re supported to shape a career that evolves with you.
Diversity and Inclusion

At Huws Gray Group, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported – no matter what their background or circumstances.
We’re proud to take an active role in building a more inclusive and fair construction industry through a number of key commitments:
Disability Confident Employer
We’re a Disability Confident Employer, committed to providing equal opportunities and removing barriers so that everyone can reach their full potential. We actively encourage applications from disabled candidates and make reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment and employment.
Construction Inclusion Coalition
As strategic partners of the Construction Inclusion Coalition (CIC), we’re working with others across the construction sector to create a more diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace for everyone. Together, we’re driving positive change that benefits our people, our customers, and our communities.
Our People

River Carson
Branch Manager
I started working for the Group in 2020. My first job was an Apprenticeship, where I completed a Level 2 in Trade Supplier. I’ve been lucky enough to be given a range of different opportunities during my time here. I’m really proud to say that I’m now in a Branch Manager role and looking forward to my future development in the business.

Hannah Kingsley
Business Development Manager
I started with C&L, now part of the Huws Gray Group, in May 2022, as a Sales Person in the Southern Key Accounts team. Within a few months, I was successfully placed on the Leadership Pipeline Programme, which was instrumental for my progression within C&L. I was able to learn about different aspects of leadership, the business and myself, alongside doing my day job, and develop relationships with colleagues that are still a large part of my support system now. I have since progressed to Project Manager in August 2024, and most recently to Business Development Manager for Residential – North in July 2025.

Dannii Munroe
Apprentice
Starting out as an apprentice, I’ve built up my confidence, picked up loads of knowledge, and now I’m happy chatting with customers and helping out the team. Even though this industry is mostly male, I felt welcomed right away and have really grown since I joined. This apprenticeship, and the team here, has helped me come out of my shell a lot.
